School Nutrition

The School Nutrition Department uses Infinite Campus to manage lunch accounts. Parents and guardians can access their family's lunch accounts to view their lunch account balance, see what their student(s) have eaten, and identify all account transactions by using your already existing Parent Portal in Infinite Campus > Food Service.

À la Carte purchases are available to grades 5-12. Students will not be allowed to charge à la carte purchases to their account if they have a negative balance.

District families can make credit card or checking account deposits into their student's food service account via IC Parent Portal. Log in and go to Food Service on the left menu. In Food Service you can select your student, determine the amount of payment and select PAY on the bottom of the page. Follow instructions for the payment process. All students now have individual accounts. You may indicate the amount you would like added to each student. View the account transactions by clicking on the right hand arrow in the highlighted line. 

Infinite Campus Parent Portal

Payment boxes are also located in every school office. Payments are collected from elementary school students every morning. Students in grades 5-12 must drop off their lunch account payments at the payment box at the start of each school day. 

Families may drop off lunch payments at the Middle School office (700 Swan Road) until 10:00 am for the same day credit. Please place payments in the lunch account payment box.

The Unified School District of De Pere School Nutrition Department is committed to serving healthy kid-friendly meals in accordance with USDA standards. The Healthy, Hunger Free Kids Act has brought about a number of changes to the National School Lunch Program including:

• Students are required to choose at least 1/2 cup of fruit and or vegetable as part of a reimbursable lunch
• Schools must offer different "sub groups" of vegetables each week including dark green, red/orange, beans/legumes
• The majority of grains offered must be whole grain rich
• Calorie limits have been set based on age group

Elementary School Lunch
Dickinson, Altmayer, and Heritage Elementary, for the most part, all follow the same monthly lunch menu. Elementary lunches can provide up to 650 calories. Each day there is a planned main entrée. There is a variety of fruits and vegetables available each day, as well. 

Foxview School Lunch
Menus planned for 5th and 6th graders provide between 600 and 650 calories. There are one or two entrees available daily as well as a variety of fruits and vegetables. The Foxview Grab n' Go* cold entrée bar features a variety of prepared sandwich, salad, wrap and yogurt parfait options. During the winter months soup is also offered. Skim chocolate or 1% white milk are available daily on both lines.

Middle/High School Lunch
Middle School and High School students have a choice of 2-3 entrees daily as well as a variety of fruit and vegetable options. Middle School menus are planned to have between 600 and 700 calories, while High School lunches can contain between 750 and 850 calories. Middle School and High School lunch includes one entrée and up to three sides. Any part of the school lunch can be purchased separate at à la carte price. Other à la carte options include baked chips, Rice Krispie Treats, muffins, snack bars, beef sticks, gourmet nuts, 100% juice, zero calorie sports drinks, and plain and flavored water. Skim chocolate and or 1% white milk are available daily on both lines. 

A Grab n' Go* cold entrée bar, which features a variety of prepared sandwich, salad, wrap and yogurt parfait options, is also available at the Middle School and High School. During the winter months soup is also offered.

*Grab n' Go entrees are not posted on the Nutrislice menu as they are constructed each day with the culinary creativity of our kitchen crew. Many of these entrees feature our locally purchased and/or farm fresh foods.
