Free and Reduced School Meals

2024-2025 Free and Reduced meal Applications - now open 

A NEW FREE AND REDUCED APPLICATION NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT EACH YEAR!

The free and reduced school meals program is a government subsidized program available to families who meet the established income guidelines. It is a confidential program, and students receiving free or reduced price lunch benefits are not segregated in any way. A new application must be completed and on file for each school year. This can be done anytime during the school year; however, the earlier the application is completed the sooner your family may be able to receive benefits. 
 
Applications are mailed to families prior to the start of the school year as an insert in the back to school edition of the De Pere Hi Light newsletter. Applications are also available in all of our school offices. A PDF version of the application is also available to download and print.

Families that qualify for free or reduced price school meals may also qualify to have school fees waived but must fill out the waiver. Upon completion, applications may be returned to any school office, faxed to (920) 337-1049 (attn: Renee Brandenburg) or mailed to:

Some families are directly certified for free school meals because of their participation in in W-2, Foodshare, or FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations). However, because your family receives these benefits does not guarantee direct certification. You will be contacted if your family has been directly certified.
