The Unified School District of De Pere offers a confidential Employee Assistance Program through Aurora. Aurora's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services are provided to all employees and family members who reside in their household (college students outside of the home are also covered).
The EAP is free (up to program limits), local and 100% confidential. The EAP offers face to face or phone sessions with counselors where employees and/or family members can talk about stress, relationship or family matters, drug or alcohol issues, or anything else they desire to discuss. In addition, the EAP offers some specialty work/life services including, but not limited to: legal consultation, eldercare assessment, financial counseling, child care search, and adoption assistance.

Samaritan Fund Program - The District is pleased to release information on a program called, the Samaritan Fund Program which is available to employees participating in the District's health insurance plan. The Samaritan Fund Program is designed to support those who have serious medical conditions or high-cost medications that may be financially crippling even when there is insurance in place. There is no income requirement to apply or qualify for the program. Samaritan Fund Program participants do not pay any fee for participation in the program. Please note: the application deadline for the program is May 25, 2024.

OptiMed is an additional pharmacy option for individuals who take Specialty Medications (often very expensive medications used to treat complex diseases like cancer, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, and rare genetic conditions). Section 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity Program
The Tax-Sheltered Annuity Program is a supplemental retirement savings program authorized by section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. Eligible employees can enroll at any time. Through the TSA Program you can invest a portion of your income for retirement on a pre-tax basis. Participation in the TSA Plan is voluntary. You make the entire contribution; there is no employer match.
TSA Consulting Group is the third party administrator of the District's 403(b) plan.

FICA Alternative Retirement Plan
Effective July 1, 2020, employees who do not participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System through their employment with the District will be required to participate in the FICA Alternative Retirement Plan. The FICA Alternative Retirement Plan is through Precision Retirement Group and is administered by Pelion Benefits.
