What is Care Solace?
Care Solace is a resource that provides counseling care coordination services for our students, staff, and all local families. It helps individuals find mental health care providers and substance use treatment centers 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.

Cost
Care Solace is available at no cost to you. You will be connected with providers accepting all medical insurances including Medicaid, Medicare and sliding scale options for those without insurance. All information entered on Care Solace is confidential and securely stored.

Care Solace is an optional resource to help individuals find and coordinate mental health services. It is not mandatory to use. Care Solace is not an emergency response service or mental health services provider. In the event of a life threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or the National Suicide Hotline 9-8-8.

Orientation to Aurora EAP Services (Power Point)
The Unified School District of De Pere offers a confidential Employee Assistance Program through Aurora. Aurora's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services are provided to all employees and family members who reside in their household (college students outside of the home are also covered).
The EAP is free (up to program limits), local and 100% confidential. The EAP offers face to face or phone sessions with counselors where employees and/or family members can talk about stress, relationship or family matters, drug or alcohol issues, or anything else they desire to discuss. In addition, the EAP offers some specialty work/life services including, but not limited to: legal consultation, eldercare assessment, financial counseling, child care search, and adoption assistance.

OptiMed is an additional pharmacy option for individuals who take Specialty Medications (often very expensive medications used to treat complex diseases like cancer, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases, and rare genetic conditions). The OptiMed program only includes a very small percentage of prescriptions and will only impact a small percentage of members on the health plan.

Section 403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity Program
The Tax-Sheltered Annuity Program is a supplemental retirement savings program authorized by section 403(b) of the Internal Revenue Code. Eligible employees can enroll at any time. Through the TSA Program you can invest a portion of your income for retirement on a pre-tax basis. Participation in the TSA Plan is voluntary. You make the entire contribution; there is no employer match.
TSA Consulting Group is the third party administrator of the District's 403(b) plan.

Effective July 1, 2020, employees who do not participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System through their employment with the District will be required to participate in the FICA Alternative Retirement Plan. Vision Coverage
Vision Coverage
Employees who participate in the District’s health insurance plan will have a separate vision plan with Anthem. Our vision coverage with Anthem will cover one eye exam per member every 12 months at an in-network provider at no cost. The Anthem plan will also provide limited reimbursement for eye exams at out-of-network providers. Finally, the Anthem plan will provide some discounts for prescription lenses, frames, and prescription contact lenses.

Employees of the Unified School District of De Pere should follow the following procedure if injured at work: Contact your supervisor and call Medcor to report your work-related injury. This is a work injury nurse line providing 24/7 service.
