Mental Health Resources

The physical, emotional and mental well-being of our students and families is critical to educational success. We offer a wide range of District resources and partnerships with community providers to support individual needs in both emergency and non-emergency situations

In addition, the District has active HOPE Squad groups at the High School, Middle School and Foxview Intermediate School. Hope Squad is a student-to-student suicide prevention support team. The goal of Hope Squad is simple: to provide friendship, encouragement and support for peers who may be struggling.

Students are not asked to act as counselors, but rather trained to look for warnings signs of struggles, be effective listeners and to understand the importance of referring their peers to trusted adults for help if needed. The Hope Squad program is facilitated by trained staff, but students nominate their peers to serve.
