Superintendent's Message

To Our De Pere Community:

I am honored to lead the Unified School District of De Pere. I will focus my work toward the Board of Education’s charge to ensure that every De Pere student reaches excellence in their learning and citizenship.

During the superintendent selection process, the Board of Education, staff and community stakeholders communicated their desires for specific leadership characteristics: the capacity to build trusting relationships; a commitment to equity; and the ability to collaboratively plan with all stakeholders for outcomes that advance student learning. These priorities strongly resonate with why I became an educator.

The Unified School District of De Pere mission states that we are partners with our families and community in providing a distinct educational edge preparing all learners to be successful and contributing members of a global society. Our mission aligns with my core principles.

I believe every decision we make as educators must be in the best interests of all of our students. I am thrilled to be part of a district and community that connects with who I am and echoes my passion and purpose for education. De Pere is that place. Everyday is a great day to be a Redbird!
