English Language Learning (ELL)
It is the intent of the Unified School District of De Pere (USDD) that every student in the district who has a primary language other than English and who is identified as limited English proficient (LEP) be provided with the opportunity to participate in an English Learner (EL) program. The EL program strives to enable limited English proficient students to become competent in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the English language in an academic setting and be able to participate fully in society. English learner services are provided by the District's certified EL Coordinator and EL staff. For more information regarding the EL Program, please contact Jeanne Adair, EL Coordinator, in the Student Services office (District office) at (920) 983-9174 ext. 4118.
