child development screening
The District offers free, online Child Development Screenings using the Ages and Stages Questionnaire. The screening is open to any resident of the Unified School District of De Pere with a child ages 2 years 9 months to 4 years 6 months (who is not currently enrolled in 4K).
You simply fill out a questionnaire regarding how your young child is progressing in meeting developmental milestones. The questionnaire is available online between October and March. For questions, including requesting a paper questionnaire or how to have a screening conducted outside of the listed timeframe, contact Samantha LeRoy, Student Services Coordinator (920) 983-9174 ext. 4116.
rising redbirds playdates
Rising Redbirds is a multi-week session of playdates, available for 3- and 4-year-olds who are not enrolled in 4K, and who reside in the Unified School District of De Pere. Children will enjoy fun, educational activities with their peers! Families will have the chance to meet one another, receive developmental information and can access community resources.

All playdates are held at on Fridays at Altmayer Elementary School, 3001 Ryan Rd., De Pere, from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
